Dr Peter Hubka MRCGP FRACGP

Dr Hubka relocated to Perth with his wife and two children in 2018 after working for 12 years in the UK, where he qualified as a GP and gained MRCGP in 2013. Dr Hubka was born and raised in Bratislava in Slovakia where he completed his medical studies at Comenius University Medical School in 2000. Before moving to Australia Dr Hubka worked as a GP in semi-rural area of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.

Dr Jaswinder Buttar MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Buttar has a vast experience in dealing with any emergency and has worked in various emergency departments in Australia for more than 10 years. He has great experience looking after sick children and is happy to do most small surgical procedures including sutures and excisions of small lesions.

He is also qualified in offering skin checks and skin cancer-related excisions. He offers iron infusions and venesection. He is experienced in men’s health and chronic health disease. He can offer antenatal care as well as Implanon and contraceptive advice related to women’s health.

Clare McCall - Female Psychchologist

BA (Hons) PGDip (Psychology) MSc MRes

Clare is a registered psychologist who provides a safe space to develop trusting, therapeutic relationships with her clients. She delivers client-centred psychotherapy to individuals aged 12+, incorporating a warm, insightful and compassionate approach.

Clare has many years of experience working with adolescents as a teacher, special needs coordinator and school psychologist. After completing her postgraduate diploma in psychology in 2008, Clare embarked on further postgraduate study, completing an MSc in psychology in the UK, followed by a Master of Medical and Health Science by Research from ECU. Previously, Clare worked as a sessional academic and research assistant at ECU and tutored a unit on exercise psychology to undergraduates. As a psychologist, she recently spent three rewarding years providing psychotherapy to a diverse range of adults, all experiencing self-harm thoughts. Clare aims to empower her clients to take actions to reduce/eliminate suffering by promoting change, fostering autonomy and developing resilience. She helps facilitate the processing of past trauma with her clients and teaches them methods in self-care and healthy boundary setting.

Clare draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, such as:

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Mindfulness-based treatments
  • Psychoeducation, such as polyvagal theory
  • Somatic psychotherapy

Clare has worked with clients who have presented with a number of issues including:

  • Neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. ASD, ADHD)
  • Affective disorders (e.g. depression, bipolar)
  • Anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, panic disorder)
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Suicide ideation/ self-harm behaviours
  • Trauma-related disorders (e.g. PTSD)
  • Recovery from abusive relationships
